Golfer Tiger Woods is in "good condition" after a car accident, his publicist says. Woods' SUV struck a fire hydrant, then a tree, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
One of the Northwest Airlines pilots who overshot the Minneapolis airport told air traffic control the crew stopped radio contact because of "cockpit distraction."
A passenger train running from Moscow to St. Petersburg derailed Friday, causing 25 casualties, including some deaths, state-run Russian television reported.
Ok, so I am a little confused as to what Obama is wanting to do with our Heathcare System. Is he wanting to put into action a Nationwide general coverage for all Americans without insurance or just for everyone no matter what? How much is his plan going to cost use? and Will this actually work?
I am a little sceptical of what lies ahead in his plans for us. How can such a plan be implemented that is beneficial to not only individuals but for business owners as well without the additional taxing? Seems like the money needs to come from somewhere but where?
We have already shelled out loads of money for the bailouts and now I have a feeling this is going to be next and I am not to happy about this.
Any thoughts or comments would be great to clarify things.
Its official! I turned in my early voting ballot and am so glad that it’s done and over with. Since I live a bazillion miles away from the nearest town ( 17 to be exact) I get an absentee ballot for living outside city limits. As most of you might have gathered, I am a Republican That’s a no brainer. But I must admit that I was stopped dead in my tracks for at least a week before truly deciding on who and what I wanted to vote for. Aside from the nitty gritty, since I refuse to debate about things right now, this was hard for me. I honestly do not think either McCain nor Obama should be on the ballot but since they are the best that we can do I had to pick who I thought would be the better of the two and therefor came to vote for McCain.
I apologize for my abrupt departure from my blog, for those of you that read it. I recently got a job working as a bookkeeper for a local Livestock Supply business. I have enjoyed it very much and am still adjusting to the long hours of work that is required of me. For those of you who may not know, I was a stay at home mom ever since the birth of my 3 year old twin boys. After almost 4 years of being confined to the walls of my house, I decided that I had had enough and needed to be where I can interact socially with adults. Don’t get me wrong, I loved being home and watching my boys grow up but I think this move will be great for them in two ways. First of all, all they know is me and hubby and family. I think its time for the boys to be around kids their own age and start being more independent and detached from me and also from each other. And my second point would be, that they would start extending their vocabulary and really be able to have a conversation with me instead of broken sentences that I would have to piece together to really fully understand what story they are trying to tell me. I am so delighted to see the transformation in them and am looking optimistically into the future.
I received an email with this you tube video of Obama supporting abortion. This is an emotional video so be cautioned if you decide to watch it. It officially starts at :10 seconds. Please direct people here to view this video.
I have been absent from the blog lately and am starting up again. Anyone who has been following my blog I apologize. Its been a rough week.
I am often wondering where we, as Americans, are going with our country. Some are speculating that we are shifting towards a socialist country and other say that we are already there. Many are blaming the Bush administration for getting us into this mess, but I believe that we have been going down this path even before Bush was sworn as President. The more that people want the government to be involved and “bail” them out of whatever situation they may be in, the more the government becomes involved. Duh…You ask and you shall receive times 10.
Aside from Party affiliations, I do believe we need to have new leaders in Washington that actually give a damn about our economy and not just wanting things better for themselves. I feel that they have lost connections with the rest of us that put in a hard days work just to make ends meet. And why are these big companies being bailed out when their CEO’s and Executives are getting paid over $200K and whatever money these companies do get will trickle down to the ground worker maybe getting $100 dollars out of the deal if not at least being able to keep their jobs while the big wigs are getting way more than they should?
Instead of rescuing Fannie and Freddie for example, why not give the money to people that have the loans through them? If they are not capable of “running” a big business, then why should “we” the Americans bail them out with our tax money and not even have a say as to where the money goes? I pay taxes every single year but when my life goes up in flames, so to speak, then why are the people in Washington not standing by to back me up with “my” money.
Some people may say ” thats what savings accounts are for.” My response to that is why do these big business not have savings accounts to bail their asses out when their companies go up in flames in stead of depending on the government to give them “my” money. I am so frustrated with Washington making big decisions in reguards to everyone tax money but yet we dont get a say so as to how its dispersed. I know I pretty much repeating myself but I hope everyone gets my point. Things need to turn around and change FAST. Get a hold of your State Representatives and Congressman or woman and tell them your thoughts. After all they do work for us, the Americans, not for themselves.
Here is Blog that has Ron Pauls predictions about Fannie and Freddie 5 years ago. I truly wished people had listened.
Here is Glenn Becks view of the Fannie and Freddie story .

According to the Orland Sentinel it has been done before but it is a challenge.
“If the body has not been found or recovered, [prosecutors] must present circumstantial evidence that allows the jury to conclude the victim is dead and died at the hands of the defendant,” said Charles Putnam, a former prosecutor and researcher at Justiceworks, a research group in justice studies at the University of New Hampshire. This can include evidence acquired by crime-scene investigators, statements from witnesses, and details about the behavior and actions of the suspect in the crime. To prove a circumstantial case, the information presented at trial must be sufficient to convince a jury that a murder is the only reasonable explanation of what took place.”
For someone not wanting a child in the first place seems to have herself in a corner as more possible motive for killing Caylee. Here is more on this story from the Orlando Sentinel
Another story that just came to life in today’s paper of the Orlando Sentinel is the one where Casey is given an extension of time away from her house to meet with her lawyer at his Kissimmee office but must be back home by 6:00 pm. ” Anthony did not schedule any leaves this weekend, according to jail spokesman Allen Moore. She will meet again with the home confinement officer on Monday.
“Anthony is subject to random drug and alcohol tests, but she was not tested today, Moore said. A home confinement officer can and will make random, unannounced visits at her home.”
I think she needs to be on house arrest and not be able to leave no matter what unless escorted by police to and from the lawyers office. And why she was given an extension I have not clue nor do I really understand the concept. It’s possible I just don’t know how far away Kissimmee is?
Here is a video on Youtube that I found that is a tribute to Caylee and it is very sad ( may make you cry):
Before I go into this story I would like for everyone to pass this on, to whoever may be using Facebook. My mother is an Account Executive for many Credit Unions out in California and has been told to sell this new technology advance to her Clients. She is also employee of IntegraSys who is owned by Fiserv.
Fiserv ”MyMoney is an innovative banking application built on Facebook Platform, a development system that enables companies and developers to build applications for the Facebook website, where all of Facebook’s 100 million users can interact with them.Recognizing the popularity of Facebook among Gen Y consumers, who are desirable prospects for many credit unions, Fiserv developed MyMoney to enable Facebook users to search for and join a credit union and manage their funds via the familiar Facebook interface.Using MyMoney, they can view account balances, history and transfer funds right from their Facebook profile, with multiple layers of security protecting their data and accounts. Developed to reach younger members and potential members where they spend time online, MyMoney is equally beneficial for any Facebook user, regardless of age. “
Fiserv has also won The Banker Technology Awards 2008 Retail Award for Online Innovation.
So with that being said I don’t really have an opinion about it. Basically it’s a way for the credit unions to reach current and potential customers who are online “all” the time. If anyone wants any information about Fiserv or Integrasys in general or is interested in what they have to offer for your needs, please email me and I can get you in contact with either my mother or someone else that has better knowledge of it.
